It is critical for the healthcare sector to have access to the most current information, including everything from diagnostic information from patients and clinical research findings to insights about operations and cost.  But the key differentiator between winning and losing always comes down to people. We all understand that intelligent, experienced people know how to leverage processes and technology to work effectively and efficiently to achieve their goals, yet building that team is a journey that requires: 1) Innovation to elevate operations; 2) Inspiration to drive motivation, unlock creativity, and increase productivity; and 3) Ignition– the spark that propels passion. During this session, a carefully curated panel of leaders will explore the who’s and how’s of developing high performing teams.

General Session: Key Principles in Leading with Inclusion, Mental Health, and Emerging needs in Health IT

Organizations to support employee mental health and drive impactful inclusion strategies, they must plan with greater insight and intent. The key, however, is not specific programs or offerings, but rather the prevalence and experience of mental health and stigma variations across identities and communities. While opportunities do exist, this change must start with leaders modeling vulnerability and conversations around the challenges they face to normalize these experiences. This session aims to explore the critical intersection of diversity and mental wellness, equipping healthcare executives with the knowledge, tools, and strategies to create inclusive environments that prioritize the mental well-being of their workforce and patient populations.

    Panelists:

    Robyn Ewers, President, Untethered Strategies

Eric Lee, MD, Medical Director, Clinical Informatics, AltaMed Health Services

Digital health includes digital care programs, technologies connected to health, healthcare, and living, and societal efforts to improve efficiency and make medicine more personalized and precise. Achieving a high level of digital health enlightenment will undoubtedly improve outcomes. Using information, communication, and other technologies, health systems can facilitate better understanding of health problems and the challenges faced by patients, as well as socially prescribing more personalized and precise ways to reduce the costs and improved results. Digital health is a model unlike any other. It will require fundamental changes in many of the core functions of health systems and expanded adoption of technology products and services all working together across the care continuum. This session will take attendees on an expedition traveling to a future state of healthcare where fostered collaboration, information, and the removal of silos can produce better outcomes through truly integrated care delivery.
